The A02 Series is our Korean-style heavy duty shock absorbing caster: protect the equipment above while the wheel below rolls over rough floors.

This 8 inch (200 mm) model combines:

• a RED CAST IRON CORE PU wheel (polyurethane tread cast directly onto a solid iron hub), Shore A 95-98
• a GALVANIZED STEEL BRACKET with a built-in SINGLE COMPRESSION SPRING
• a 6203 precision ball bearing for low rolling resistance

The single spring is pre-loaded between the top plate and the yoke. When the wheel hits a floor joint, threshold or chip pile, the spring compresses vertically and absorbs the impact before it reaches the machine frame.

The 8 inch is the largest model in the A02 family: 248 mm installed height, 400 kg per wheel (approx. 1,600 kg on a 4-wheel set). It is built for the heaviest, bulkiest equipment and the worst floors — large-format laser cutters, diesel generators, steel coil carts, large injection molding machines and aircraft / ground-support handling dollies.

[1] RED CAST IRON CORE PU WHEEL — Shore A 95-98

• Polyurethane is CAST (poured liquid) onto the iron hub, not glued. The bond is permanent — the tread can never delaminate under load.
• Shore A 95-98 is the upper end of the industrial hardness scale:
  • highly resistant to cutting, chunking and wear from metal chips
  • non-marking on epoxy, painted and PVC floors
  • oil, grease and most solvent resistant
• RED colour = visual wear indicator: when the black iron core shows through the red tread, replace before failure.
• Cast iron core = zero radial deformation, superior heat dissipation versus aluminium, rigid centre keeps the 6203 bearing aligned.

[2] GALVANIZED STEEL BRACKET (5.0 mm pressed steel)

• Hot-dip galvanized coating protects against rust and corrosion far better than painted brackets (paint chips; zinc does not).
• 5.0 mm plate for top plate and yoke = high structural strength, resists bending under off-centre shock loads.
• Clean bright industrial finish, visually matched to the red wheel.

[3] SINGLE SPRING SHOCK ABSORPTION (A02 defining feature)

• A single heavy-duty coil spring is pre-loaded inside the bracket, between the top plate and the yoke.
• On floor joints, thresholds, chip piles and uneven slabs the spring compresses VERTICALLY and cushions the impact before it reaches:
  • large laser resonators and gantries

  • steel coils and heavy fabricated structures

• 6203 ZZ sealed deep-groove ball bearing, common and serviceable.
• Low rolling resistance → lower push/pull force → less fatigue.

A: Yes, within spec: 400 kg × 4 wheels = 1,600 kg, on a flat level floor with evenly distributed load. For higher loads or dynamic towing, contact us for spring-rate and bracket selection.
