1. Conductor – Plain annealed copper, available as Class 1 (solid) or Class 2 (stranded round). Meets IEC 60228 requirements for conductivity and mechanical performance.

2. Insulation – PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) insulation provides excellent electrical insulation properties, abrasion resistance, and protection against moisture and chemicals. Color-coded for easy core identification.

3. Filler & Binder – Non-hygroscopic fillers and binders maintain the circular shape of the cable and provide structural integrity.

4. Copper Tape Shield (P2) – A helically applied copper tape provides effective screening against electromagnetic interference (EMI). This is the defining feature of the KVVP2 type, offering superior shielding compared to braided shields in certain frequency ranges.

5. Outer Sheath – PVC outer sheath offers mechanical protection, resistance to abrasion, moisture, and sunlight, with adequate resistance to oil
