Huitian^® 7243 is a one-component thread-locking anaerobic adhesive that features thixotropy, oil tolerance, fast curing, medium strength, easily disassembled, and resistance against the fluid. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces.
 

Typical Application

Locking and sealing of threaded fasteners to prevent thread corrosion, particularly suitable for locking and sealing lightly oiled bolt surfaces. Surface locking and sealing of bolts on inert surfaces (stainless steel, aluminum, gold-plated, etc.) or bolts with high-temperature resistance (up to 180°C) requirements.

Directions for use

Clean-up: For best results, clean all surfaces (external and internal) with a Huitian 7755 cleaning solvent and allow to dry.

Gluing: Apply glue evenly to the thread engagement area, with sufficient glue to fill the thread gap, and tighten in one pass as required by the specification. Curing speed slows down as the gap increases If the cure speed is too slow, spray all threads with Activator 7769 and allow to dry.

Assembly: Shake the product thoroughly before use. To ensure that the system achieves maximum performance, the recommended curing time is 24 hours or more to ensure that the adhesive layer is fully cured.

Cautions

Not suitable for use on plastic parts, not suitable for use in pure oxygen and oxygen-rich systems, and not for sealing chlorine or other strong oxidizing substances.

Store unused glue in a sealed container for next use. Contaminated glue should not be refilled into the original bottle as this may affect the performance of the remaining glue.

This product contains acrylic and methacrylate substances which are irritating to the skin and eyes. Recommended for use in a ventilated area. In case of accidental contact with eyes and skin, rinse immediately with water.

Storage

Optimal Storage: 8 °C to 21 °C. Storage below 8 °C or greater than 28 °C can adversely affect product properties.
