• Modular crossbar design - Break-down poles snap together using self-aligning ferrules. The TL-3000G's constant 28.5 mm diameter gives super-smooth rolling for seamless paper; the tapered TL-2900G and TL-2800G shave grams without flex.

Can I use heavier backdrops like thick canvas or carpet-style fabrics?
Absolutely. The system's load limit applies to the combined weight of the pole and backdrop. For the TL-3000FPG, that means up to 12 kg per tripod - enough for heavy-duty textiles. Always centre the weight and, when in doubt, add sandbags.

Do the crossbars work with standard backdrop clamps and hooks?
Yes. The TL-FPG poles use standard 22 mm spigot ends or 22-28.5 mm tubing that accept virtually all A-clamps, spring clamps, and studio hooks.

What's included in the box?
Two tripod stands, one segmented crossbar (matching the model), and a padded carry bag. A quick-start guide is included.

Is the support pole length adjustable?
The pole itself is a fixed length once assembled. You can, however, leave one or two sections out to achieve shorter spans while maintaining a clean profile.

Can I leave this system set up permanently in my studio?
Yes. The aluminium tubes resist corrosion and the twist locks are built for repeated daily use. For permanent installs, we recommend checking lock tension monthly.

Will it fit in checked luggage?
The TL-2900FPG and TL-2800FPG fold to 850 mm - compact enough for most large suitcases and hard cases. The TL-3000FPG (1040 mm) suits equipment trunks and dedicated flight cases.
