Overmolding injection molding is a type of insert injection molding where both materials are plastic. The process involves three steps: first, injection molding the substrate (hard material); second, placing the substrate into the overmold tooling; and third, molding the complete parts. 3 Communication with clients regarding DFM analysis

6 First trial on tooling, tooling analysis after first trial, OTS checking
7 Tooling etching or final polishing after first samples approval
