Dual Shot Injection Molding Process
Dual Shot injection molding involves two shots in the same tooling. The tooling includes two cavities but the same core. The first injection molding creates the substrate part (hard part), then the core rotates 90 degrees to position the substrate in new cavities for the second shot. The second shot material can be soft or hard material. We have extensive experience in dual shot injection molding processes, with nearly 8 years of expertise in this area.
