Q: What quality documentation do you provide with each shipment?
A: Standard documentation includes Certificate of Conformance (CoC), dimensional inspection report for critical characteristics, material certification, and packing list. PPAP Level 3 documentation, full FAI reports, IMDS submissions, and customized inspection formats are available upon request.
Q: How do you handle a quality issue if one occurs?
A: We follow a structured 8D problem-solving process: D1-Team formation, D2-Problem description, D3-Containment (within 24 hours), D4-Root cause analysis, D5-Permanent corrective action, D6-Implementation & validation, D7-Preventive measures, D8-Team recognition. A detailed 8D report is provided to the customer, and corrective action effectiveness is verified through follow-up audits.
Q: Do you provide process capability data (Cpk/Ppk) for our parts?
A: Yes, we routinely provide Cpk studies for CTQ characteristics as part of PPAP submissions or ongoing production monitoring. Our standard requirement is Cpk ≥ 1.67 for ongoing production. We use SPC software with real-time data collection from CMM and vision measurement systems to generate capability reports automatically.
