Confirm that your printer supports heavyweight paper. While 100g paper offers excellent stiffness and curl resistance, not all desktop inkjet printers can handle paper this heavy. Also request a sample to test color yield and transfer efficiency with your specific sublimation ink and heat press.
2. How should I store and handle 100g sublimation paper?
Store the paper in a cool, dry environment (temperature <30°C, humidity 40–60%) away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it sealed in its original packaging until ready to use. Despite its heavyweight, avoid stacking heavy objects on top of the paper to prevent unwanted creasing or compression marks. For best transfer results, complete the heat pressing within 48 hours after printing.
3. What applications are best suited for 100g sublimation paper?
This heavyweight paper is ideal for large-format designs, all-over prints, and rigid substrates such as ceramic tiles, metal sheets, coated hardboards, and mouse pads.
