Q1: Can this 35g transfer paper be used with ordinary printers?
A1: Yes, but with important prerequisites:
Must use dye-sublimation ink; ordinary dye/pigment inks cannot transfer
Recommended to use Epson, Brother, or other piezoelectric inkjet printers (micro-piezoelectric print heads are less prone to clogging)
Clean the print head before each printing session to prevent dye-sublimation ink crystallization and clogging
Q2: What temperature and time settings should be used for transfer?
A2: Standard heat transfer parameters reference:
Temperature: 200-220°C (adjust ±5°C based on substrate thickness)
Time: 40-60 seconds (recommend extending to 70 seconds for dark-colored fabrics)
Pressure: Medium to high pressure (approx. 0.4-0.6 MPa)
The transfer paper must be peeled off immediately after transfer to avoid secondary adhesion
Q3: Which materials can it transfer onto?
A3: Suitable material range:
Best compatibility: Fabrics with ≥65% polyester content (sportswear, flags, etc.)
Special coated items: Ceramic mugs, metal plates, phone covers with polymer coatings
Not transferable: Pure cotton, wool, wood, and other non-polyester or uncoated materials
Conduct a small sample test before full transfer to confirm colorfastness and adhesion
