Material and Structural Features
Base material and weight
The core base material is polyester (polyester fiber), which achieves a high weight of 300gsm through high-density weaving,
giving the fabric a thick and crisp texture while enhancing physical strength and durability.
The weight of 300gsm belongs to the mid-to-high-end specification, suitable for scenes with high requirements for light blocking and durability (such as commercial spaces, audio-visual rooms, etc.).
Back-grey coating process
"Back-grey" refers to the coating of a gray light-blocking layer on the back of the fabric, usually using solvent coating technology.
Solvents are based on environmentally friendly chemical solvents, which reduce the release of harmful volatiles (such as formaldehyde) in traditional solvents and are more in line with environmental protection requirements.
The coating components are mostly resin mixed color paste (such as carbon black or silver paste), and a full light-blocking effect is achieved through multi-layer coating, effectively blocking more than 99% of visible light and ultraviolet rays.
Functional Characteristics
--Shading and heat insulation performance
Through the back-grey coating combined with high-density weaving (some processes insert black silk during weaving), the first-level shading (shading rate ≥ 80%) is achieved,
which almost completely isolates the strong outdoor light and is suitable for places with strict requirements on dark environment (such as bedrooms and dark rooms).
The reflective particles in the coating (such as the silver coating) can reflect infrared rays, significantly reduce heat conduction, and improve the efficiency of indoor air conditioning.
--Environmental protection and safety
Solvent technology reduces the residual harmful substances, avoids the problem of traditional coated cloth easily releasing formaldehyde, and is more in line with modern environmental protection standards.
Some products meet the fire protection requirements of public places (such as hotels and exhibition halls) through flame retardant finishing.
--Physical performance optimization
Waterproof and anti-fouling: The resin coating forms a dense barrier with basic water repellency, and daily stains can be wiped clean.
Sound insulation and noise reduction: The high-weight fiber structure and the coating absorb sound waves together, reducing environmental noise by about 20–30%.
