Insulating Castables are engineered to provide superior thermal management in a wide range of high-temperature applications. Their material composition is strategically selected based on the target working temperature to optimize performance. For moderate-temperature zones (approximately 800°C to 1200°C), the primary aggregates often include Perlite and Vermiculite, which offer excellent insulating properties due to their highly porous structure. For applications requiring higher service temperatures and improved structural integrity, materials such as lightweight clay,lightweight mullite, and bubble alumina are employed. These advanced aggregates provide enhanced refractoriness and resistance to shrinkage at elevated temperatures, making them suitable for demanding environments up to 1700°C.
