Calcium silicate board was developed as a safe, asbestos-free alternative to traditional thermal insulation materials. It is capable of withstanding continuous operating temperatures ranging from 650°C to 1100°C. Thanks to advancements in material processing, the board offers a combination of lightweight properties, low thermal conductivity, high mechanical strength, easy installation, long-term reliability, and excellent durability. Three standard grades are available—650°C, 1000°C, and 1100°C—making it suitable for use as furnace backup insulation in industries such as steel, petrochemicals, ceramics, cement, and glass, as well as for fire protection in building construction.
