The AFBR-5823TQZ is a 125MBd Fast Ethernet 1x9 Transceiver that provides system designers with products to implement a range of 125-MBd Fast Ethernet and FDDI as well as 100-Mb/s Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) designs.

This transceiver is compatible with SFF-8472 (digital diagnostic interface for optical transceivers) and is supplied in the industry standard 1 × 9 form factor with a duplex ST connector interface.
