Product Superiority

The Filter Value Tester is a precision instrument designed for the evaluation of dispersion properties of polymer materials (e.g.masterbatches, engineering plastics, modified plastics, etc.). By simulating the melt extrusion process, combined with pressure monitoring and filtration analysis, it quantifies the dispersion uniformity of pigments and additives as well as the efficiency of impurity filtration to ensure that the material complies with industry standards such as ASTM (e.g.ASTM D6260)or EN(e.g.DIN EN 13900-5:2005).

 

Equipment Overview:This equipment is used for testing the dispersion performance of pigments, additives, and masterbatches in polymers such as PP, PE, and PET through an extrusion filtration method.

 

The working principle of the equipment

Working Principle:The test material is first melted and homogenized in a single-screw extruder beforebeing transported by a melt pump to a die equipped with a filter screen. The instrument continuously measures and
records the melt pressure curve before the filter screen in real time. It then automatically analyzes and calculates the filtration value, providing a quantitative characterization of the dispersion performance of masterbatches or other filled materials. The test results are automatically generated, with an intuitive interface and high data accuracy.
