The technique of cataract extraction has evolved rapidly during the past decades. In sites where capability for small incision foldable intraocular lenses (IOLs) surgery is available, incision size has decreased from 10.0 mm to the present standard of less than 3.0 mm. The small incisions contribute to a faster recovery and decrease the complication rate after the surgery. This development has led to a need for new instruments. One of the most popular ways to implant a foldable IOL through a small incision is by using an injector system. These systems usually consist of two parts: the injector and the cartridge.

Microincision intraocular lens implantation is realized through this injector system, which incision size range is 1.8mm/2.0mm/2.2mm2.4mm/2.6mm.
The cartridge is made of medical grade polypropylene which has high molecular weight uniformity and good biologival safety.
The Injection System for Intraocular Lens structure design conforms to the requirments of ergonomics with good control and stable injectortion.
The Injector has thicken head to prevent the cartridge from falling out during Injector.
The cartridge is closed tightly during injection process because of locking mechanism design,whcih will benefit to smooth implantation.
The cartridge tunnel is transparent, which is convenient observe the intraocular lenses loading and avoid the failure of injection.
The primary package of products is designed to ensure stable transportation and avoid packaging debris falling off.

Single-use Injection System for IOLs Suggested Incision 2.2mm Instruction for Use

Open the package using standard sterile procedure.
Apply moderate amount of viscoelastic gel into the cartridge tunnel.
Along the cartridge direction load the intraocular lens into the center place of the opened cartridge with the lens in reverse "S" shape, then close the folding wings with a "click" locking sound.
Place the cartridge in the groove of the injector, press it down to the bottom, and then push forward to the end.
Use the injector to implant the intraocular lens.
