Installation Notes
Professional installation recommended. Battery disconnection is essential.
Disconnect battery – Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning work
Remove the steering column covers – Remove the upper and lower covers from the steering column
Identify the combination switch – Loe the switch assembly on the left side of the steering column
Disconnect the electrical connector – Unplug the wiring harness connector from the switch
Remove the old switch – Unbolt or unclip the combination switch from the steering column
Compare new and old switches – Verify the new switch matches the old unit in functions and connections
Install the new switch – Position the new switch on the steering column and secure with bolts/clips
Connect the electrical connector – Plug the wiring harness into the new switch
Test functions – Reconnect the battery and test all switch functions (lights, turn signals, wipers, washers)
Reinstall steering column covers – Reinstall the upper and lower covers on the steering column
Final test – Confirm all functions operate correctly before returning the vehicle to service
