Installation Steps Overview:
Disconnect battery negative cable - Safety
Drain power steering fluid - Disconnect return line and drain into a pan
Remove drive belt - Loosen tensioner or idler pulley
Remove pulley from old pump (if not included on new pump) - Use a puller tool
Disconnect hoses - Note positions (pressure and return). Cap lines to prevent debris
Unbolt old pump - Remove mounting bolts (typically 2-4 bolts)
Compare new pump with old - Check mounting, port sizes, pulley alignment
Transfer pulley to new pump - Use installer tool - do not hammer
Install new pump - Bolt to engine bracket. Torque bolts to specifiion
