Installation Notes

Raise and secure the vehicle - Safely lift the rear axle and remove the rear wheels, brake drums, and hub assembly
Remove the old inner seal - Carefully pry out the old seal using a seal puller, taking care not to score the hub bore
Inspect hub bore and axle spindle - Check for scoring, pitting, or wear; repair or replace components as needed
Clean thoroughly - Clean the hub bore and spindle surface with solvent; ensure no old seal debris remains
Lubrie the new seal lip - Apply a thin coat of clean axle oil or assembly grease to the sealing lip
Position the new seal - Align the seal squarely with the hub bore (lip facing inward toward the bearing)
Install the seal - Use a proper seal driver or appropriate-sized socket to press the seal evenly into the bore until fully seated
Pack bearings and fill with oil - Repack wheel bearings with grease or fill hub with axle oil per manufacturer specs
Reinstall hub assembly - Mount the hub, ensuring the seal lip rides smoothly on the axle spindle surface
Adjust bearing preload - Tighten the bearing nut to the specified torque and set end-play as per ISUZU service manual
