Installation Guidelines
Disconnect battery negative terminal; raise and support vehicle safely
Mark the orientation of the existing propeller shaft to the differential and transmission flanges before removal
Remove the U-joint bearing cap snap rings or retaining bolts
Press out the old journal assembly using a suitable U-joint press
Clean yoke bores thoroughly; inspect for wear, scoring, or damage. Replace yokes if necessary
Apply recommended grease to needle bearings and trunnions
Press the new journal assembly into the yoke bores; ensure bearing caps seat fully
Install snap rings or retaining bolts; verify free articulation without binding
