Press out old king pins – use a hydraulic press. Remove old bushings from the axle beam.
Inspect axle beam bores – check for ovality or damage. Clean thoroughly.
Install new bushings – press into axle beam (upper and lower). Ensure oil holes align.
Ream bushings to size (if required) – using a precision reamer to achieve correct king pin clearance (typically 0.001-0.003 inches).
Lubrie king pin – apply high-quality chassis grease to the pin and bushings.
