IMPORTANT: The VG30E V6 uses a hydraulic clutch actuation system. Always bleed the clutch hydraulic system after completing the clutch replacement to ensure proper pedal feel and clutch disengagement.
Installation Steps
Remove the transmission from the vehicle following Nissan workshop manual procedure
Remove the clutch cover (pressure plate) and old clutch disc
Inspect the flywheel surface for scoring, hot spots, or warpage
Inspect the pilot bearing in the centre of the flywheel
Inspect the rear main seal for oil leaks
Clean the flywheel and pressure plate surfaces with brake cleaner
Install the new clutch disc using a clutch alignment tool
Install the pressure plate and torque bolts to Nissan specifiion
Remove the alignment tool and verify disc is centred
Reinstall the transmission
Bleed the clutch hydraulic system
Test the clutch operation
