Installation Notes
Professional installation required. Brake system safety is critical.
Disconnect battery – Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning work
Drain brake fluid – Drain the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir
Disconnect brake lines – Carefully disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder
Disconnect the push rod – Disconnect the push rod from the brake pedal linkage
Remove the old master cylinder – Unbolt and remove the master cylinder from the firewall
Inspect the push rod and linkage – Check for wear or damage; replace if necessary
Clean the mounting area – Clean the firewall mounting surface and surrounding area
Bench bleed the new master cylinder – Bench bleed before installation per manufacturer procedure
