Heavy-duty clutch pressure plate provides consistent clamping force for reliable power transmission, smooth engagement, and durable performance in ISUZU FRR, FSR and FTR trucks with 6HH1 diesel engines.
Professional installation required. Proper clutch system service is critical:
Disconnect battery – Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning work
Remove the transmission – Safely remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle
Remove the old pressure plate – Unbolt and remove the old pressure plate and clutch disc
Inspect the flywheel – Check the flywheel friction surface for wear, scoring, or heat damage
Resurface or replace the flywheel – Refinish the flywheel surface or replace if necessary
Inspect the release bearing – Check and replace the release bearing if worn
Clean thoroughly – Clean the flywheel and pressure plate mounting surfaces
Use a clutch alignment tool – Insert the alignment tool to center the disc
Position the new disc and pressure plate – Place the new disc on the flywheel
Install and torque bolts – Tighten pressure plate bolts evenly to manufacturer specification
Remove the alignment tool – Verify the disc is centered and remove the alignment tool
Install new release bearing – Install a new release bearing in the transmission bell housing
Reinstall the transmission – Reinstall the transmission assembly
Adjust clutch free play – Adjust the clutch pedal free play per manufacturer specifications
Reconnect battery – Reconnect the battery
Test operation – Test clutch pedal feel and shifting operation
Road test – Test drive the vehicle to verify smooth clutch engagement
