Installation Guide
Safely lift and support the vehicle - support the axle or spring
Remove the leaf spring or shackle (if necessary to access the bushing)
Place the spring eye or shackle on a press - support around the bushing outer diameter
Press out the old bushing - use a socket or drift that contacts the outer metal sleeve. Apply penetrating oil if seized
Clean the bushing bore - remove rust, debris, and old rubber residue
Inspect the bore - check for ovality or damage. Replace the spring or shackle if necessary
Lubrie the new bushing outer sleeve - apply a thin film of soapy water or rubber-friendly lubricant
Press the new bushing into the bore - use a drift that contacts the outer sleeve only. Press until flush or to specified depth
Reinstall the leaf spring or shackle - torque mounting bolts to specifiion (with vehicle at ride height for rubber bushings)
Lower vehicle and test drive - listen for abnormal noise
