Disconnect battery - Ensure safety before working on the vehicle
Raise and support vehicle - Use appropriate jack stands or a lift
Remove transmission - If required, remove the transmission to access the clutch release mechanism
Remove clutch release fork and bearing - Note the orientation and assembly order
