Installation Notes
Installation steps (typical):
Loe clutch master cylinder on firewall.
Drain old fluid from reservoir.
Disconnect hydraulic line (use flare nut wrench). Cap line.
Disconnect pushrod from clutch pedal (remove clevis pin).
Unbolt master cylinder from firewall.
Compare new cylinder with old (mounting flange, pushrod length).
Adjust pushrod length if necessary.
Install new cylinder and torque mounting nuts to specifiion (15-25 Nm).
Reconnect hydraulic line (use new sealing washer if equipped).
Reconnect pushrod to pedal with new cotter pin.
Fill reservoir with fresh DOT 3/4 fluid.
Bleed the clutch system (open bleeder on slave cylinder, pump pedal, close, repeat).
Check pedal feel (firm, with 5-15mm free play). Adjust pushrod if needed.
Test drive.
