Installation Notes
Disconnect battery negative cable
Remove the engine cover if necessary
Disconnect the electrical connector from the old glow plug
Use a deep socket to remove the old glow plug (apply penetrating oil if seized)
Clean the threads in the cylinder head using a thread chaser (do not use tap)
Apply a small amount of anti-seize to the threads of the new glow plug (avoid getting on tip)
Hand-thread the new glow plug, then torque to specification (typically 15-25 Nm). Do not overtighten
Reconnect the electrical connector
Repeat for all cylinders
Reconnect battery
Turn ignition to pre-heat position and check for proper function. Start engine and verify smooth idle

Dimensional Inspection: Thread size, overall length, and tip protrusion verified
