Working Principle

Failure Symptoms

Installation & Maintenance
IMPORTANT: Suspension system service must be performed by a qualified technician. Always support the vehicle on a hoist and relieve spring tension before removing the leaf spring. Never reuse old U-bolts.
Installation Guidelines
Preparation: Raise vehicle on hoist. Support rear axle independently to relieve spring tension. Remove wheels if necessary.
Removal: Remove U-bolt nuts and washers. Remove spring shackle pins and bushings. Remove spring eye bolts. Carefully lower old leaf spring assembly.
Inspection: Inspect axle housing seat and chassis mounting brackets for wear or damage. Inspect shackle pins and bushings for wear. Clean all mating surfaces.
Installation: Position new leaf spring assembly on axle housing. Install center bolt through spring and axle seat. Install U-bolt clamp and new U-bolts. Install spring eye bolts and shackle pins with new bushings.
Torque Sequence: Tighten front U-bolt nuts to 106 N·m ± 7.8 N·m (78 lb·ft ± 5.8 lb·ft) in diagonal sequence. Tighten spring eye bolts and shackle pins to specification.
Final Check: Verify spring is properly seated and centered on axle. Check U-bolt legs extend evenly beyond nuts.
Re-torque: Re-torque U-bolt nuts after first 100 km of driving, then at every scheduled maintenance interval.
