What happens when the engine supercharger breaks down?
Reactions to a broken motor booster: blue or white smoke from the exhaust pipe of the car, decreased power, increased fuel consumption, increased oil, unstable turbine pressure. Blue or white smoke from the exhaust pipe when the car is idling is caused by poor sealing of the turbocharger impeller shaft.
The turbocharger fails, so the power of the car will drop significantly, the fuel consumption will also increase, the exhaust gas recirculation pipe is blocked, and the blue smoke will not only appear when refueling, but also accelerate the consumption of the oil.
Usually driving need to pay attention to the engine after starting do not drive directly, should let the engine idle for 2 to 3 minutes, wait until the supercharger is fully lubried before driving. When driving for a long time, the engine runs at high speed for a long time, and cannot be turned off immediately, and the sudden shutdown will cause the oil stuck in the turbocharger to overheat and damage the bearing.
