Wellhead Adapter Flanges Alloy Steel API 6A Weld Neck Flanges
The Weld Neck Flange is the pipe flange attached by welding the pipes to the neck of the flange, it is designed in accordance to API 6A specification. The type 6B Weld Neck Flanges have restricted bores to match standard pipe sizes and schedules. The weld neck of the adpater flange transfers stress from the flange to the pipe instead and reduces the stress concentration from the base of the hub. Weld neck pipe flanges are available with a raised face, flat face, or RTJ facing.
Features of Wellhead Adapter Flange
* Weld neck flange is made from high-strength alloy and processed specially with heating treatment.
* The wellhead adapter flanges can be used for Hydrogen sulfide H2S resistant servicewith reference to NACEMR-0175 specifications.
* The weld neck flange can be designed as per customers' requirements.
