The Center Drive Sludge Scraper is the core sludge removal equipment for circular sedimentation tanks, thickeners, and clarifiers. The drive unit installed at the tank center rotates the truss structure, enabling the bottom scraper blades to gradually collect settled sludge into the central sludge hopper, while surface scum is collected by the skimmer into the scum trough. Our equipment features modular design, compact structure, smooth operation, and easy maintenance. Center Drive Structure Drive Unit: Located at the tank center, consisting of gear motor, worm gear reducer, and slewing bearing, providing high torque transmission and smooth operation.
Bridge: Hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel truss structure spanning the tank diameter, serving as an access walkway while supporting the drive unit.
Scraper Arms: Symmetrically arranged arms connected to the center column, available in single-arm, double-arm, or multi-arm designs based on tank diameter.
Adjustable Scraper Blades Scraper Blade Material: Standard rubber blades, wear-resistant and non-damaging to the tank bottom; optional stainless steel blades.
Height Adjustable: Adjustable connection between blades and arms allows fine-tuning of blade height based on tank bottom flatness, ensuring effective sludge collection.
