Rear Dual caliper
Some car rear no electronic handbrake. Then need use dual caliper. For example

The large 4-piston caliper is responsible for walking brake, while the small single piston caliper is responsible for parking (i.e. electronic handbrake).
Nowadays, many overtravel braking systems are generally electro-hydraulic, which have to bear a lot of load and work intensively. The parking system is generally purely mechanical, and the rack, cable and return spring are basically done. The task is to stop the car, so separating the parking system is more conducive to the integrity and systematicness of the brake.
This design is also refitted and used in many drift racing cars such as d1gp, because the drift race often needs to pull the hand brake to control the dynamics of the rear of the car, which is specially changed into an independently controlled hydraulic type, and the rear is also divided into two independent calipers, brake and hand brake.
The purpose of this change is different from that of overtaking. The hydraulic hand brake can make the driver have better control, and the single hand brake caliper can also get large braking force, making it easier for the rear to lose control and swing the rear.
Now more and more models are equipped with electronic handbrake, which leads many customers to want to upgrade the restriction of rear wheel multi piston caliper.
Installation method of brake caliper bracket
Bracket (also known as adapter) is used to connect and fix brake calipers, which needs to be specially designed for special vehicles. Most of them are of equal design. Some products will be marked with the front and rear directions, but the left and right fixed directions are not marked. During installation, some people found that the installation could not be carried out according to previous experience. They thought it was the design problem of the product itself, so they carried out destruction and transformation. In fact, most genuine bridge locations are accurately calculated, so we must first determine whether the installation position is correct.
The main function is to link the caliper to the horn and fix the caliper! The closing bridge positions of each vehicle are matched together, but according to different data design, there are four ways to link the bridge positions, such as picture demonstration! (generally, if the caliper cannot be installed on the brake disc due to any installation method, you can change other installation methods of the axle position, or directly consult the supplier!)
Warm tips:
Under normal (non intense driving) conditions:
Check whether the brake disc needs to be replaced every 60000 km
Check whether the brake pads need to be replaced every 20000 km
Check whether the brake oil needs to be replaced every 2 years or 40000 km
Finally, it should be mentioned that the brake pad (also known as brake skin) plays a decisive role in the brake system. In fact, the more important thing is the contact friction between the brake skin and the disc, which is often ignored in the refitting process
