Product Description

JS-339 instant-drying adhesive is a medium-viscosity, surface-insensitive, general-purpose cyanoacrylate adhesive, suitable for rapid bonding of various plastics, woods, rubbers, metals, etc.

Product application
Suitable for various applications, especially for difficult-to-adhere and inert surfaces, as well as for bonding porous acidic and absorbent materials such as wood, paper, leather, etc., and it can be applied on the surface.

Typical curing characteristics

Under normal circumstances, moisture on the surface of the material will trigger the curing reaction of this product. Although this product can reach the application strength completely within a relatively short period of time, it needs to cure for at least 24 hours to have complete chemical/solvent resistance. a. Relationship between curing speed and substrate
The curing speed depends on the substrate being bonded. The table below shows the curing time for different substrates at 22℃/50% relative humidity. The curing time is defined as the time when the shear strength of the sample reaches 0.1N/mm2.

b) Relationship between curing speed and bonding gap: The curing rate depends on the bonding gap. A smaller bonding gap leads to a faster curing speed, while an increased bonding gap will slow down the curing rate. The relationship between curing speed and accelerator
c) When the bonding gap is too large, causing the curing to be too slow, using an accelerator on the substrate surface can increase the curing speed. However, using an accelerator may reduce the final bonding strength. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct tests before using an accelerator.

Construction method

1. Due to the fast bonding speed, the workpiece must be accurately positioned before bonding, and the surface of the workpiece must be clean and free of grease.
2. This product is usually applied with manual gluing. A small amount of glue is applied to one side of the workpiece, and then the two sides are pressed together until the initial setting is achieved.
3. Generally speaking, the amount of glue applied should be minimized. Excessive glue application will lead to a decrease in the curing rate and bonding strength. The excess glue can be removed by using cleaning agents, nitroform, or appropriate organic solvent.
4. This product has the best bonding effect for small gaps (0.05 mm).

Notes for Attention

1. The instant adhesive will quickly bond to the skin. If it comes into contact with the skin, it can be rinsed with warm soapy water. Do not forcibly tear it off.
2. If it comes into contact with the eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately; if it is accidentally ingested, seek medical attention immediately.
3. This product should not be used in pure oxygen or oxygen-rich environments, and it cannot be used as a sealing material for chlorine or other strong oxidizing substances.
4. Use the product in a well-ventilated area.

Product Storage
The ideal storage conditions for the product are to keep it in a cool and dry place with a temperature range of 8°C - 21°C. The optimal storage temperature is 2 - 8°C. Products used outside the packaging box may be contaminated during use. To avoid contaminating the unused adhesive solution, do not pour any adhesive solution back into the original packaging.
