How it works
Energy conversion principle: When the motor slows down, it will generate renewable energy, and the role of the dynamic brake resistor is to convert this part of the renewable energy into heat energy. Unlike DC braking and composite braking, dynamic braking techniques require the installation of external braking resistors. During the motor deceleration process, the motor operates as a generator and generates electrical energy to feed back to the DC bus. If not processed, this part of the electric energy may cause the DC bus voltage to rise and damage the inverter and other equipment. The dynamic brake resistor consumes this part of regenerative energy by converting electrical energy into heat energy, so as to maintain the stability of the DC bus voltage.
Realize fast braking: it can quickly consume the kinetic energy of the motor, so that the motor stops rotating quickly.
