Product Introduction: The Filtration-Grade Polyester Geotextile is a specialized filtration material designed for mine water treatment systems, produced from acid and alkali resistant polyester fibers through a precise needle-punching process. It has a controlled pore size distribution and high filtration accuracy, which can effectively separate solids and liquids in mine wastewater. The product has a high fiber density and strong mechanical strength, ensuring stable filtration performance even under high flow rates. It is available in pore sizes ranging from 0.05mm to 0.5mm, and can be customized according to the particle size of impurities in mine wastewater.
Main Functions: Firstly, it provides efficient solid-liquid separation: it can filter out suspended solids, sediment, heavy metal precipitates, and other impurities in mine wastewater, reducing the turbidity of the water and improving water quality to meet national or local discharge standards. Secondly, it has chemical corrosion resistance: it can withstand the erosion of acidic, alkaline, and high-salt mine wastewater, as well as the corrosion of chemical reagents used in water treatment (such as flocculants and disinfectants), without degradation or loss of filtration performance. Thirdly, it has anti-clogging performance: the uniform pore structure and high porosity allow for large water flow capacity, and the surface of the geotextile is not easy to accumulate impurities, reducing the frequency of cleaning and maintenance. In addition, it has good abrasion resistance, which can withstand the scouring of high-velocity wastewater.
Application Scenarios: This product is widely used in mine water treatment projects, including the filtration of mine wastewater treatment ponds, the filtration of leachate collection systems (from tailings dams and waste rock yards), the filtration of groundwater protection projects, and the pretreatment of recycled water in mining areas. It is suitable for various types of mines, such as metal mines (copper, gold, iron), coal mines, and non-metallic mines. In addition, it can be used in the filtration of industrial wastewater in mine smelting workshops, helping to realize the recycling of water resources and reduce environmental pollution.
Installation and Usage Notes: Install the geotextile in the filtration tank or drainage channel according to the direction of water flow, with the smooth side facing the water flow to reduce the accumulation of impurities. Ensure that the geotextile is closely attached to the inner wall of the tank or channel, and fix the edges with bolts or pressing plates to prevent water from bypassing the geotextile. Before use, rinse the geotextile with clean water to remove any dust or debris generated during production. During use, regularly monitor the pressure difference on both sides of the geotextile; if the pressure difference is too large (indicating clogging), clean the geotextile in a timely manner (using backwashing or chemical cleaning methods). Avoid using sharp tools to scrape the surface of the geotextile during cleaning to prevent damage.
