It is produced from high-tenacity, UV-stabilized polyester fibers, which are mechanically bonded through a intensive needle-punching process to achieve exceptional thickness and survivability. This geotextile features a high friction coefficient for superior interaction with soils, enhancing its reinforcement function by transferring tensile forces across a potential failure plane. Its primary role is to prevent the intermixing of dissimilar soil layers (e.g., soft subgrade and granular fill), thereby maintaining the integrity and design thickness of the base course.
