This high temperature resistant bentonite waterproof blanket is specially developed for high temperature environments. It uses modified bentonite with high temperature resistance and high-temperature stable geotextile as raw materials. The modified bentonite can maintain its water-swelling performance and structural stability at temperatures up to 150℃, while the high-temperature stable geotextile is not easy to melt or decompose. The product is suitable for waterproofing projects in high temperature working conditions.
Product Features
Excellent high temperature resistance: Can work stably at 80-150℃, and the waterproof performance and mechanical properties will not be affected by high temperature.
Strong impermeability: The modified bentonite has a higher expansion rate and better impermeability than ordinary bentonite, effectively blocking high-temperature water and steam seepage.
Good thermal stability: The product structure is stable under cyclic high and low temperature conditions, and there is no cracking or deformation.
Corrosion resistance: Resistant to the erosion of high-temperature chemical media such as oil and gas, suitable for industrial high-temperature pipeline trenches and storage tank areas.
Application Fields
Applied to high-temperature pipeline trenches (such as thermal pipelines, oil pipelines), industrial furnace foundation waterproofing, high-temperature wastewater treatment pools, power plant ash storage yards, and cement kiln tail gas treatment facilities. It is an essential waterproof material for high-temperature industrial projects.
Product Installation
Base surface pre-treatment: The base surface should be treated with heat insulation and anti-corrosion first for high-temperature areas. Ensure the base surface temperature is lower than 50℃ during laying.
Laying precautions: Lay the BWB in a cool environment as much as possible, avoid laying in direct sunlight at high temperatures. The overlap width should be increased to 25cm to ensure the impermeability of the connection.
Fixing and sealing: Use high-temperature resistant fixing parts (such as stainless steel nails) for fixing. Seal the edges and joints with high-temperature resistant bentonite sealant to prevent hot air and water vapor from entering.
Post-construction inspection: After laying, conduct a thermal insulation test to check whether the waterproof layer is intact. After passing the test, carry out the subsequent thermal insulation layer construction.
