Steel Geogrid is a high-strength geosynthetic material made of high-quality low-carbon steel wire or steel plate, processed by welding, stretching, and anti-corrosion treatment. It has excellent tensile strength, creep resistance, and corrosion resistance, which can effectively enhance the bearing capacity of the roadbed, disperse the road surface stress, and prevent road surface settlement and cracking, which is especially suitable for heavy-duty road construction.
Production Process: Strictly follow the international standard production process. First, select high-quality low-carbon steel wire (ASTM A36/A1011 or EN 10025 S235JR) and process it into steel bars of specified specifications through drawing and straightening; then weld the steel bars into a grid structure by automatic resistance welding (WPS welding process specification), ensuring that the welding points are firm and uniform; then perform hot-dip galvanizing treatment (meet ASTM A123 or EN ISO 1461) to improve corrosion resistance; finally, cut and package according to the project requirements.
Technical Parameters (Meet ASTM D4595-17, EN ISO 10318:2010, GB/T 17689-2014):
Material: Low-carbon steel wire (Q235, ASTM A36, EN 10025 S235JR)
Galvanized layer thickness: 70-110 μm (ASTM A123: 70-100 μm; EN ISO 1461: 85-110 μm)
Service life: ≥ 50 years (in normal environment)
Application Scenarios: Heavy-duty road and highway construction, such as expressways, national highways, and industrial roads with heavy traffic load; airport runways, freight yards, and port terminals, which can enhance the bearing capacity of the foundation and extend the service life of the project. It can also be used in the reinforcement of soft soil roadbeds to accelerate the consolidation of soft soil and reduce roadbed settlement.
