Product Introduction
Sodium bentonite waterproof blanket is made of natural sodium bentonite particles and the corresponding admixtures, which are evenly mixed and fixed between two layers of geotextile by special technology and equipment. This material not only has all the characteristics of geomaterials, such as separation, reinforcement, protection, filtration, etc., but also has excellent impermeability.
Product Properties
1. High expansibility: sodium bentonite can expand at least 24 times when exposed to water, forming a uniform colloidal system with high viscosity and low filtration loss.
2. Excellent waterproof performance: impermeable hydrostatic pressure up to 0.6MPa for one hour without leakage, permeability coefficient as low as 5×10^-11 cm/s.
3. Durability: As a natural inorganic material, aging reaction will not occur, and durability is good.
4. Environmental protection: harmless to the human body, friendly to the environment, is an environmentally friendly material.
5. Simple construction: not limited by the temperature of the construction environment, it can also be constructed below 0℃, and only need to tile, fix and lap during construction.
6. Easy repair: Even if the waterproof layer is accidentally damaged, it can be restored by simple repair.
