Waterproof Sodium Bentonite Geosynthetic Clay Liner For Geoengineering Needs
Product Introduction
Sodium bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) is a new type of geosynthetic material, widely used in water conservancy, environmental protection, transportation, railway, civil aviation and other civil engineering. Its main components are graded natural sodium bentonite particles and corresponding admixtures, which are made by fixing the bentonite particles between two layers of geotextile and plastic woven cloth by needling process.
Product Properties
1. Excellent waterproof performance: Sodium bentonite has a strong water absorption, can absorb water equivalent to several times its own weight, and expand to form a gel, effectively prevent water penetration.
2. Low permeability: The permeability coefficient of sodium bentonite waterproof blanket is very low, usually far below 1×10^-9 cm/s, which can provide long-term reliable waterproof effect.
3. Versatility: In addition to being waterproof and impermeable, the sodium-bentonite waterproof blanket can also be used as a geosynthetic material for other geoengineering applications such as reinforcement, isolation and filtration.
4. Economy: Compared with other waterproof materials, sodium bentonite waterproof blanket has a higher cost performance and can reduce engineering costs.
Product Application
Sodium bentonite waterproof blanket is widely used in various engineering projects because of its excellent waterproof and impermeable properties. It can be used for the foundation treatment and capping of landfill sites, the seepage prevention of artificial lakes, reservoirs, channels, rivers, roof gardens, and the seepage prevention of underground buildings such as basements, subways, tunnels and underground passages. In addition, it is also suitable for municipal engineering, subway, building underground engineering and roof reservoir seepage prevention, as well as domestic waste landfill, sewage treatment, industrial waste treatment, rivers and lakes reservoir dam seepage prevention, plugging,reinforcement, garden artificial lake golf course pond seepage prevention. At the same time, in some projects in petrochemical, mining, agriculture and other fields, sodium bentonite waterproof blankets are also used as anti-seepage, anti-corrosion, anti-leakage, reinforcement materials.
