Negative Pressure Control: Its primary role is to regulate the internal pressure of the ink supply, ensuring that the ink remains suspended at the nozzle plate without dripping or retreating.
UV Light Shielding: The "BK" designation refers to its black, opaque housing. This design is critical for UV-curable inks (like LUS-120), as it prevents ambient light from curing the ink inside the tank.
Ink Stabilization: It acts as a buffer to eliminate air bubbles and pressure fluctuations caused by the rapid horizontal movement of the carriage, ensuring consistent droplet firing.
Filtration: Includes internal filtering mechanisms to catch micro-debris before the ink enters the sensitive printhead nozzles.
