1. Absolute Backflow Prevention (Non-Return)

Operating as a black, open-pressure non-return valve, it allows fluids (ink or air) to flow in only one direction. This prevents ink from flowing backward into the air channels or sub-tanks, effectively eliminating the risk of color mixing, cross-contamination, and printhead damage.

2. Negative Pressure & Flow Stabilization

Equipped with a highly sensitive internal spring and diaphragm mechanism, the valve opens only when the required threshold pressure is met. This maintains a perfectly balanced negative pressure between the sub-tank and the printhead during high-speed carriage movement, ensuring a smooth, consistent ink flow.

3. Anti-Dripping & Anti-Clogging Guard

When the printer is in standby, cleaning, or capping modes, the valve tightly seals the ink path. This counteracts gravity to stop ink from dripping onto the media, and prevents air from getting sucked back into the printhead channels, which causes nozzles to drop out.

4. Light-Blocking & Chemical-Resistant Build

UV-Resistant Opaque Housing: The black housing blocks ambient and curing light completely, preventing UV inks from curing inside the valve.
Premium Industrial Materials: Made with high-density, chemical-resistant polymers and Fluororubber/Teflon seals. It withstands continuous exposure to aggressive Eco-Solvent, Solvent, and UV-curable inks without swelling, cracking, or degrading.
