The 10-layer half-hole PCB (castellated PCB)
The 10-layer half-hole PCB (castellated PCB) is a high-density interconnect board designed for module-to-board soldering applications where space efficiency and signal integrity are critical. Plated half-holes positioned along the board edges serve as solderable connection pads, enabling direct surface mounting of the module onto a host PCB without bulky connectors. Manufactured with a 1.0mm to 2.0mm finished thickness and supporting fine-line geometries down to 50μm/50μm, this board is ideal for communication modules, sensor modules, and core-board/baseboard architectures. The 10-layer construction provides ample routing resources for complex digital, analog, and power distribution networks, while the half-hole edge connectors offer reliable mechanical and electrical interconnection.
