Rapid Hardening Agent For Cement And Grouts Boost Strength And Workability Calcium Chloride In Concrete Hardening Agent
Calcium formate has many uses in the construction industry. It is primarily used as an additive in grout and cement to accelerate the curing process and improve the strength of the final product.
Calcium formate is used as an additive to cement and grouts. It contains desirable properties that help decrease the cement's setting time, prevent efflorescence and corrosion in metal substrates, and boost workability at low temperatures.
Calcium Formate is an additive designed to significantly improve the qualities and properties of tile adhesives. As an additive it prolongs open time, improves adhesions and is a highly efficient strength accelerator which is of importance for tile mortars where you need acceleration and low skin formation.
Using Calcium Chloride in concrete produces an accelerated rate of hydration in cement. It warms the concrete mixture and allows workability of placement in cold weather. By using Calcium Chloride in ready mix, it develops high early strength.
Functions on dry-mixed mortar:
1,It can improve the increase of ettringite during the early cement hydration .It can also accelerate the hydration speed of C3S and enhance the early strength of cement products. Calcium formate is stable at room temperature, it is not easy to cake. Generally speaking , it’s more suitable to applied in dry-mixed mortar.
2,It has good frost melt and can construction of negative temperature.
3,It has widely application and has low additive value.
Reference additive value:
The dosage of each ton of cement and mortar is nearly 0.5-1.0%. The maximum additive amount is 2.5%. The dosage of calcium formate will increase with the lower of temperature. Even in summer days, 0.3-0.5% additive value will have clearly early strengthen effect.
