Silicone strip bonding/cutting equipment
Formulated for extruded silicone rubber gaskets. Clear and transparent; cures swiftly to a silicone polymer in high heat. Provides a permanent bonding solution for silicone rubber joint cords.

The bonding procedure begins with the uniform mixing of the three‑part adhesive KL‑301G(ABC) at a weight ratio of 10:10:1 (A:B:C). This blend is then spread onto a thin support sheet, with the layer kept under 0.5 mm. Prior to application, the silicone gasket ends are preheated against the hot mould to promote reactive wetting. A minute quantity of the adhesive is transferred onto those ends, after which the operator promptly joins the two cord sections by hand—ensuring the adhesive remains uncured during assembly. Constant lateral pressure is applied until the upper mould descends, securing intimate contact over the entire joint area. The mould is held closed for 10 to 20 seconds at 180 °C, a step that imparts sufficient thermal energy for full crosslinking. Post‑cure, the assembly is left to cool to ambient temperature, at which point the ultimate bonding strength develops. Even with this careful process, the joint line remains observable in the final part, as shown in the accompanying image.
