The SXWASB36X10001 is the higher density member of the SpaceLogic AS-B server family, featuring thirty-six onboard input and output points within a device that also performs system server duties. This combination makes it ideal for mid-sized projects: the same unit that runs control logic, manages schedules, records trends, and handles alarms is also directly wired to plant equipment. This enables mechanical room integration into a managed building system without requiring separate supervisory servers and field controllers typical of layered architectures.
When project scope expands beyond thirty-six points, the device supports remote I/O modules, ensuring installed hardware remains valuable. Two Ethernet ports with an internal switch allow daisy-chaining of controllers and servers, while support for BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, and Modbus RTU/TCP enables integration of both legacy field devices and modern IP equipment into a single engineering database.
