The EPW104 is a wet-media differential pressure transducer from the Schneider Electric EPW series, designed for installations where both pressure ports encounter liquid rather than air. Output form selection is performed on-site and should be documented, as incorrect mode selection can lead to inaccurate readings. The three-wire configuration shares a common return between supply and signal, requiring cable screens to be landed at the panel end only to prevent ground loops through wet pipework. For strainer monitoring applications, trending pressure changes from clean-filter baselines over weeks provides more useful data than instantaneous alarm thresholds. Proper purging of both impulse lines is essential to eliminate air pockets that cause stable but incorrect offsets.
