The SXWASPSBX10001 is the LonWorks-equipped member of the third-generation SpaceLogic automation server family, identified by Schneider Electric as the AS-P-S. It performs the same head-end duties as other Premium servers, running supervisory control logic, alarm supervision, trend logging, and BACnet routing, while adding a native LonWorks FTT-10 interface on the front of the device.
This single port makes it the standard choice for buildings with substantial installed bases of LON field devices where owners want a modern supervisory layer without replacing every controller on the trunk. Rather than purchasing separate LonWorks to BACnet gateways and treating them as integration projects, sites can present LON devices directly to the head end and map them into the same engineering database as BACnet and Modbus points.
Secure boot protects the integrity of what runs on the server, and BACnet/SC provides encrypted transport for connections traversing shared IT infrastructure, satisfying both operational and cybersecurity requirements of modern controls specifications.
