Product Overview
The MTN4010-6550 is a single gang cover frame from the Merten D-Life design line, finished in nickel metallic and measuring 90mm square. This range treats the frame as a design statement rather than a neutral surround, featuring a larger format that creates a visible border around the accessory. The metallic finishes are designed to complement brushed metal door furniture, handles, and architectural ironmongery.
Constructed with a thermoplastic body and metallic finish applied to the visible face, the frame supports both horizontal and vertical mounting orientations. This flexibility allows for customized combinations that suit any wall configuration. The modular design separates the frame from the insert and rocker, enabling the same electrical device to be presented in any D-Life finish without requiring special electrical hardware.

Installation & Integration Notes
Important Considerations: Metallic finished frames require special handling on construction sites. The surface readily shows fingerprints and marks, and the finish can be damaged by cleaning agents that standard plastic frames tolerate. Protective packaging must remain in place during construction.
The larger 90mm format requires adequate space around wall boxes, particularly near door architraves or tiled edges where standard frames might fit but this larger frame will not. Precise alignment is crucial with prominent frames, as any level or rotation differences become immediately visible with the wider border.
When mixing D-Life frames with other design lines, maintain detailed records of article numbers per room to ensure replacement consistency.
