The S 588/13 is a stainless steel design frame for the UP 588/..3 series KNX touch panels, delivering a robust metallic surround that combines durability with premium visual appeal. Excellent resistance to scratches, fingerprints, and general wear makes it well-suited for high-traffic commercial environments, hospitality applications, healthcare facilities, and public buildings where long-term appearance retention is critical.
The frame snaps onto the installed UP 588/13 or UP 588/23 touch panel, creating a seamless, professional edge finish that conceals the panel mounting gap. At only 5 mm depth, the frame maintains a low-profile flush appearance consistent with premium architectural switchgear standards. The cool stainless steel tone coordinates with silver, chrome, concrete, dark wood, and industrial-minimalist interior design languages.
As part of the interchangeable S 588/..3 design frame collection, the S 588/13 can be specified at installation or substituted later as an upgrade without disturbing the wired touch panel. The coordinated family includes aluminium (S 588/12), glass black (S 588/14), and glass white (S 588/15) options.
